Very cool and interesting collection of projects, there’s probably more people than you realise that would be very upset if they didn’t get to see your UAZ finished (ish) and make turbo noises and I’m one of them. Very glad you’re going to continue making videos 👍🏻

It's great that you are doing the videos that you enjoy, the channel will be a history of what you have done on the vehicles. Loving the plasma cutter, cad and process. Great to see you creating stuff, it's good to see real world world engineering. Thanks.

Considering you're going algorithm unfriendly, I'd definatey remind your viewers to make sure they hit the bell icon to ensure they get notified next time you upload a video, for their sake, not yours. Excellent video as always. I think I'm fascinated because I used to do this sort of stuff at my first job. Tig and mig welding, plasma cutting (manually, not via a computer), tidying up shitty brackets with a file are all things I did in my late teens early twenties before computers took over my career.

Its an old russian 4x4, its probably very happy to get so much love and attention ! I rewired my 61 International harvester Metro van. Someone had previously rewired ot using all green wires. Multiple colors are a great help later. A question, my 83 Saab 900 turbo eight valve threw a rod recently and im wondering if a 9000 engine will bolt right up to the 900 transmission. Is that what you did in your 900 ?

I do like to think that all my vehicles have the most fun with me as their custodian 😄 No the 9000 engine doesn't fit the 900 transmission unfortunately.

Great video as always! Can I ask what plasma cutter you are using? I'm trying to find a suitable one for my setup without it costing me an arm and a leg.

Thanks 😊 I've got 2. A Lidl centre aisle special with built in compressor. It says it can do 12mm on the box which I totally don't believe. I'll have to push it a bit and see what it can actually do. The plasma table has an RTech50CNC. Both single phase. I think the Lidl one was £150. The RTech came with the table but I think they are a £1000!

Thanks for the info. I have 2 but both are not CNC compatible despite them saying they are. Turns out they are HF (High frequency start) which don't play well with the electrics on cnc machines. However finding one that is compatible and within my budget is proving more difficult that I hoped it would. @@LivingMyBoostLife

Good on ya for creating content that is your passion. Doing stuff that is not fun to you becomes a huge burden and puts a major damper on why you are doing this in the first place. No reason to do a weekly upload. Quality over quantity is my motto. As for your welding, keep on practicing. Suggest a number 5 cup for aluminum. Alumina cups are fine and economical. Also on your lap joints on the corners; suggest using a spare piece of angle and clamps to create a plateau, so you capture the argon and it does not just fall off the edge, or worst yet create vortices and pull in oxygen.

Pretty cool tho I'd rather use an intercooler with a proper air to water core. Air to water core intercooler flows and cools better while being not much more expensive

It would need a custom manifold as it faces the wrong way and it's a tight squeeze getting 2.25" pipe in and out of the nose

Ah I misread what you typed. Would they be more efficient? I'd expect a bike radiator has a larger job than a charge cooler. Also like you say, more expensive and less shapes and sizes available so would require more modifying to make fit.

@@LivingMyBoostLife no ive meant that the cylinder shaped intercooler mounted to your engine uses a recycled air to air intercooler core. It will work tho it won't be as good as a proper air to water core

@@Robis_Grigoris Ah I see! To be honest most of the barrel ones seem to be the same construction. We'll see how it goes 😃
