I would much prefer taper based fixing on spindle than face plate like your solution. All time you need fix runout when installing, of course if your lathe is tapper based spindle equiped... some china made doesnt have taper.

Thanks for commenting, this lathe has a Morse taper, but the fixing plate is made on the end of the spindle which is the same as how the lathe cup will be mounted and it is very precise, of course the adjustment with the taper is also very precise, which I decided to do. with a plate. Thanks my friend

I am a little bit confused after watching this video. I also understand that this lathe ... or is it a sewing machine .. has it's limitations. As You very clearly presented, all sorts of vibrations are an issue when turning a large object (large for this lathe). Supporting the workpiece with tailstock would help a lot. It would also improve the quite rough surface finish. Although this machine is small, it can easily separate a figer from Your hand by twisting it off. Pushing a finger into a rotating hole with sand paper is an accident waiting to happen. Use some sort of a stick instead of Your finger. You need Your fingers. A stick has also the benefit of being straight whereas finger introduces an uneven surface. I hope You don't mind my ranting but safety is a big issue in home workshop because quite often we work alone and there is no help available when something bad happens.
