You should find a 60 impala dash and use those pods for your gauges

I'm really enjoying this build. Lots of rivets. I'm doing a hand built steel T Bucket and using rivets everywhere. Same music I play in the background in my shop. Love it!!

I would of put screws across the top and a piano hinge across the bottom so I could open it up to get to the back side. Only cuz I'm to old to stand on my head to do wiring

Very nice workmanship. What kind of rivets are those you're using? They look better than the usual "pop" rivet. Also do they take a special "gun"?

Take a meatloaf pan and recess it into the dash on the drivers side with the gauges inset into it.Trim to fit the curve and weld in or use the shrinker thing to make the dash removable. Otherwise it will be like the studebaker where you worked on the dash from under the hood. Pretty hard to get things right from under dash. Go for essential oil amp gas temp and speed. Other gauges distract unless needed to drive by. Vacuum or tac, other temp, manifold pressure are just humor as no one looks otherwise.

@@BrokeBastardGarage getting ready to start a 1928 dodge brothers and was thinking 18 gauge, but yours turned out awesome so I'll probably go that route. Thanks
