Making a D.I.Y. Louis Vuitton Wallet
For our special 10,000 Subscriber episode, we took apart a vintage Louis Vuitton hand bag to make a wallet! We used natural vegetable tanned leather on the inside, and made our own template for the interior that is reminiscent of the Louis Vuitton Billfold layout.
This wallet is cut and sewn by hand. We used Italian Red edge paint by Vernis for the Louis Vuitton style touch.

I LOVE not having to listen to obnoxious music while trying to learn something, especially if the instructor is speaking and the music is drowning him out! Delbert Perkins i do enough to know that antique is not the same as used. On the resale market this won’t be sold more than a third its resale value, which is max 500 eur for that model. Maybe the bag was bought 20 years ago when it actually cost less than 500 eur, but if you add up the inflation, you still sell if for less. If you take care of it, sure, you can have profit, but if you wanna buy luxe you don’t buy a bag in that condition, since you can buy a new bag from a contemporary designer for the same price :)
