I can't put a dado stack on my dewalt table saw.😞 so I just bought a Bosch router table. And I can always buy a 1/4 inch thick saw blade for a million dollars!

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that! Is it set up specifically not to take it? Or just not enough space?

When working with ¾" thickness stock, most home table saws won't accommodate a ¾" dado stack setup... Do you know an easy method of using ½" or ⅜" dado stack and sneaking up on the ¾" dado groove you desire but using a method that doesn't require eyeballing the cuts, in other words being able to create consistent repeatable groove when several are required for the job... Some kind of a stop block or jig?.... Thanks! Rob.

Actually yes! I just learned this the other day. 1. Take your first pass of whatever thickness your stack/saw can do. 2. Plane down some hardwood stock to the thickness remaining (I.e. if you can only take 1/2”, plane it to 1/4”). 3. Place this between your fence and workpiece and take a second pass. It may take some trial and error to get the fit desired but I saw another woodworker use this for finger joints and it was super slick. I’ll post a video about this as well demonstrating the technique. Thanks for the question!
