Beatrice ❤ I love the green 😊 if I had space in my house this would dangerously cause me to want to collect fun colored vintage sewing machines!

I like Beatrice! And babe, me too!! You know how many treadle machines I’ve had to pass up at estate sales😭 One day…

The dates given for Singer serial numbers are when the block of serial numbers was assigned to that machine model. So, your machine was made after that date. Perhaps a few days later, but in some cases for low production models as long as couple years.

That makes sense! Thank you for sharing😊

Omg I have the Singer 185J, which is the 3/4 size of this machine, and it is honestly my favorite machine I have ever used. I haven't seen anyone else using this before! I also sew barefoot and the pedal hurts my foot too. I actually turned it around so its backwards and use my toes instead, if that's helpful for you. I hope you love your *new* sewing machine! the dress turned out super cute! :)

Oh! I’m going to try turn the pedal around. I do like the machine a lot so I hope your trick works🥰

It looks cute and comfy. For the sheerness, you can either fully line it or wear a slip.

Dress is cute, I like the sleeve length. I love the little sewing machine, I say her name should be Gertrude, or Gertie for short.

Gertrude is good!

Beautiful new machine and what a great first project :) loved seeing you use your bodice block to fit the teeny pattern. I like the final dress, I think the extra length gives it great movement!

I like how your blouse matches the colour of the sewing machine. Any Katy Keane characters have a petite green vibe to name it after?

I would never have guessed you were that tall! Warning: I have never liked showing my knees, and recently, having skirts that show the middle of my shin bone has been too much. Super cute dress . Love the length.

It’s always funny to learn KZbinrs hight. I always imagine people being as tall as me but most of the time they are 5’4. Like I didn’t know you were just a lil guy😆

The dress is cute, but definitely shows that it was designed in the 70's... 😅 I would be looking up scottish singers/songstresses and name the machine after one of them. Bonus points for if they were active when the machine was made. Both my machines are vintage and named after actresses. My Husqvarna Automatic from around 1960 is named Elisewbeth Tailor. My Singer 66K from the 1920's is named Greta Garderob (the swedish word for wardrobe). Yes I know the wordplay is terrible, it's on purpose. 😁

@ladyanniebelle just check with your local sewing machine repair shop. Or look online for Singer sewing machine parts.

@@ladyanniebelleyou could mount the current pedal on the side of the machine to use as a knee pedal, (mine has a clip on the side to store the pedal, but I haven't tried to use it that way yet) or check to see what replacement pedals are available at your local sewing machine repair place or online. Hope these help.

aahhh i'm sorry, i really liked the dress pattern but didn't have the means to see the actual sizing on the pic when you put the poll up so 🙊 Also yeh the dragon age devs were saying they wanted to have more of that inter-character interactions so its not just all about you the main character, the others have a life xD Sadly i don't have the game. AAhhh the dress is so cute tho~! :D

In Inquisition if you don't romance Josephine, Blackwall pursues a courtly romance with her. If you don't romance Bull and Dorian and take them out a bunch they romance each other. Sera gets with... Dagna I believe?
@ladyanniebelle4 күн бұрын
That’s crazy! I played Inquisition at least twice and somehow never triggered the companion romances😤 (at least not that I remember)
@Ferry-ug6ip4 күн бұрын
@@ladyanniebelle I think you have to meet certain criteria to be able for it to happen, and I think the dagna-sera thing happens in a DLC? Also; Lucanis and Neve can get together if unromanced, iirc OH and I meant to say.... but I also put this elsewhere by mistake lmao... Would lifting your chair help with the pedal angle at all? Is there a way you can anchor it somewhere further back or even against a vertical surface? If I had the same pedal problem texturally and couldn't replace it with another, I'd have to cover the pedal with gel shoe inserts and something comfy because I can't not sew with a pedal! I hate using my hands for anything but manipulating material.

Ethel for a sewing machine name!
@riverfortune199013 сағат бұрын
Does the machine (another vote for Ethel but Julep is also cute!) have the kind of foot pedal that unplugs? If so, you could buy a replacement that you find more comfortable. I had to replace my vintage sewing machine's pedal because it had a nasty habit of overheating. It cost like $17 and just involved unplugging the old one and plugging the new one in.
