Hey, it’s been a while since I asked, but it’d be cool if you made a goggle eyed goldfish lure. I think it would work with either a hard lure or soft plastic. Please do it!!!!

I live in Hawai'i, and I think it would work great in saltwater due it it resembling a crab or similar crustacean. I use soft crab lures, and they work. Take some to Florida with you, I have no doubt you'll have better luck than freshwater Iowa fish.

I honestly would love this to become a series and you make gradually older versions of xenomorphs with every lure: First facehugger, then chestburster, xenomorph, xenomorph queen.. It would be very fascinating to see how you would translate their designs into lure form.

I gotta say this would probably be a great vertical jig, for on a boat or ice fishing, the arms opening up on the way down with a bit of tail flutter would definitely get a fish to bite on tough days. Awesome work as usual!

Love the concept. If I could make a suggestion. Remold just the belly/tail section of that bait. Basically remold with out the legs. I'm thinking that mid boot tail design with a little more meat towards the front will; entice some of the larger fish to strike.

One of my favorite "home made plastic baits" was a Hellgramite which was apx 3.5" inches long with 1" long legs and a curly spinner tail for action. I would fish it with a sliding lead weight and found it a great bait for bumping along the bottom or slow retrieves. If your looking for a new creature bait give it a try
