Making a Falkor Dragon Puppet!

I am in the process of getting this same pattern from Charlie and making my own as well! You did an awesome job! How do you have the openings for your arms in the body, or is the bottom just fully open (minus the tail being stitched shut)? I originally wanted to stuff her body and add the legs but this project is very overwhelming and intimidating lol...

Mine doesn’t have legs it’s more like a coat with the tail sewn shut like you said. I promise it feels more intimidating than it is! If you can get the foam skull put together it’s smooth sailing after that! I hope this helps 💙

But your Falkor is awesome! Do you have any recommendations for cheapish fur material? I have looked at all the places I have found and for the amount I'm going to need its a bit off-putting LOL.

Amazing! I wouldn't have the patience to sit & do all that. That's alot of work u put into that. Are u gonna make more & sell him or just keep him & be done w it? I made him for me, but with the overwhelming response on TikTok, I might sell him. Unfortunately like all of my art he isn’t cheap 🫣 but now I’ve been bit by the puppet bug and plan to make more!!! 🖤

As an artist myself, I can only imagine what it would take to commission this item, but I understand the value behind it. I would definitely be interested in learning what that commission would be. Also, have you thought about doing venom or carnage? Or even Seymour? 😂 your work is amazing. Truly, my childhood is screaming.❤
