One very good trick that I've learnt is that instead of masking tape I just cut the piece as it is, and when is finished just with a wet cloth(not soaking just a little wet) I clean the surface, much quicker than applying and then removing the tape, sometimes depending on the weather and quality of the tape it can be hard to remove and in some instances when the pieces are too fine it's just not possible with tape

That’s a great point! I haven’t had an issue with the masking tape. It takes the same amount of time to apply as wetting a cloth and wiping down the material. It also depends on the finish of the wood or the material in general. Good tip and one I’ll try in future projects!

Thank you! I use a simple one that I found over at Home Depot, but one that I really like using is called Odie’s Oil.
