Making a game with... FREE MODELS???

I have around 6 years of experience with studio, and although watching this was slightly painful, it was also fun to see. I presume your still new to studio and game development, and I just want to say to keep going. You likely wont be good out of the gate, but keep practicing, and eventually you could create something great.

​@@jessicanapoli5599 They are less of a problem nowadays however its still useful advice. This video feels like someone making their game for the very first time, with no experience, I cannot really count on them knowing so. I mean after all, it took me a month to even learn they existed in the first place when I started out despite the fact in the developer community's that was a well known thing. in the case the channel owner may have no idea what a "toolbox virus" is and is reading this comment, let me add some clarity. If not, I hope its helpful to other future commenters. A good majority of Freemodel viruses are not technically real computer virus in the sake of the term: In computer science terms most would be considered a Trojan horse because they give you something in return. In case of Roblox Freemodels, this could be a model itself, it could be a UI pack, or anything in-between. These trojans act as backdoors for attackers to gain full access of your game regardless of whenever you have FilteringEnabled set to true - a setting that was introduced to prevent exploiters from abusing roblox systems. That being said, these trojans cannot gain access to your desktop, or your account and other games you create in the future. They would only have control of the game which contains the backdoor. However, some more advanced viruses can get your account strikes, once again, attackers can do anything in your game, and that includes actions against TOS: Such as inserting bad content or bad audio. When that happens, you would have the blame despite the fact you basically did nothing, this could obviously range from 3 day bans to total account deletion. Best way to avoid it is to ensure each model is safe before you use it. Roblox tells you if a model has a script or not, so when you insert a model that should not realistically have any logic to it, for instance a tree, either find a diffrent one, or look through all the scripts in the model. That being said, typically these viruses seriously attack more popular players, like youtubers, or developers. Someone as small as you may not be on their radar, so you may notice no diffrence at all, however you still avoid these whenever possible, just ignoring it is not really future proof. If I made a mistake, someone can correct me. I may just be thinking back to the older viruses, I dont use the toolbox that often, so im not in touch when it comes to new techniques.
