The way he edits his videos he makes it appear to be so simple. Thinking about the time and skill it actually takes for him to do a project like this is very intimidating to me. His refinishing results are on a level I've rarely seen before. The way he will hand paints the woodgrain to make it look continous from one board to the next us amazing.

I like to make up sentences too! “Making a tenoning sled for the spindle moulder” is an excellent example of 18th century workman’s gibberish. Love the rustic accents! Here’s a modern take on an old classic with some American flair, please do forgive the provincial nature of the amalgam: “Spry-cocking the taint stall to the maglum weave spork!”

He's an amazing guy. More than just a jack of trades, because he's doing some gorgeous work. If you like videos like this, I could suggest you check out Kris Harbour Natural Building. The guy made a house, workshop, band logsaw, wind turbine, Hydro turbine and plenty more. It's right up this kind of alley. Kris does work that's more rustic than this, though.

What I appreciate the most is the little tips and tricks he so casually drops. Like the part where he scribes in the shape of the wall onto his side boards, to make sure he gets the perfect fit, even on an uneven wall. He doesn't draw undue attention to these things, he doesn't go off on a 5 minute lecture on what he's doing and why. But as you see him work it becomes clear in your mind. This is the best way of teaching: by simply demonstrating rather than turn it into a "lesson".

Splendid result as always, it is always a joy to watch you work! I'd like to offer two tips for the LED lighting: 1. Use COB LED strips. They have a much more uniform appearance and individual LED's are much less apparent if noticeable at all. 2. Add a diffuser directly to the LED strips. This will spread the light out much more uniformly before it reaches the mirrors.

Where many people would have to bring other trades in to complete certain facets of your design work, you just move along with almost ridiculous ease, this of course is somewhat caused by the fact we see only a video, not the full time process. Love to watch you work, your skills are exceptional. Don from South Aust.

Congrats on yet another ingenious idea! This time for the bathroom ceiling. What a perfect feature for that space! Attaching LED lights that dim & brighten add to the beauty of this feature. My favourite mirror etching design is the peacock feathers, which like the other designs, really lend to the Victorian vibe of that era. During that time period, many wealthy elites had at least one living peacock (& a peahen) on their estate. What an impressive bird to have! Peacock feathers also adorned some rooms inside, as well as women's garments & hats. It was common to have elaborate guilded bird cages on display. Women did gorgeous hand stitched pieces whilst seated on a Victorian chair or sofa. It was a beautiful era in all its opulent glory! To have a Victorian home in today's modern age & being able to restore it to its former glory, plus add wonderful personal touches, is such a privilege to have & behold! Your wife must be 'over the moon' with this home! I know that I would be! It's such a pleasure to view each video, as you make further progress on this beautiful home.
