Making another plywood basin! I made the double one in the main bathroom just before I started with the youtube channel and always regreted not filming that one, so here we go with another!

Astonishing work. If this was me, I’d have stopped about 15-minutes into the video as it looked fantastic then 😅 every time I saw you sanding it again I thought ‘what are you doing’ but the results speak for themselves.

When you first purchased the house and showed it I thought my god you have really taken a lot of work on but now seeing what you have done to it yourself and your wife must be over the moon they way it is coming along something to be proud of and say I did that 😀👍

Great design executed with such craftsmanship and detail, amazing. This project, maybe apart from the veneer, is actually something relatively achiveable in terms of materials and tools for the standard DIY-er, I may give it a simplified go for my tiny house!

I have watched this video, or at least large parts of it, at least a dozen times. Just so satisfying to watch and the finishing process is like what guys with ultra high price restored classic cars get done when paying teens of thousands on show quality paint jobs

The stick-on vinyl tile sections are a great option for the backsplash. I'm loving that beautiful 'evening gold' paint colour on the bathroom walls! Looks like the same colour chosen for the stairway area. Everything is just perfect!

Looks very good, and very modern 80's retro look with the dark mahogany color. This way of making a unique basin has many possibilities and many color variations!

I wasn't sold on the reused kitchen cabinets at first - they very, VERY much looked like, well, reused kitchen cabinets. But the overall look in the room blending styles was surprisingly nice, and created an extremely fine-looking bathroom, floor to ceiling! Your eye for detail is insane :)

Not sure my knees would enjoy knocking into the "towel rail?" in front of the toilet, but hey that basin is incredible. And I sure hope you aren't doing much to that wall to "sort it out". I love it the way it is.

I have often looked at a pack of ply on site and seen a bath tub waiting to be dug out. Although the current price of ply would suggest solid marble a cheaper option. Another great video, thank you.

That is quite simply stunning. The finish really is mind blowing. I had a wince when you put the dark stain on but that to worked so well when all was done and polished. As for the double unit. Speechless. Apart from those taps! Satisfyingly quirky.

I really love this sink except from the fact that I personally would have stained the inside a little bit lighter so the layers of the plywood would be more visible. But that´s personal liking as always. In any case it´s another masterpiece of craftmanship you made!

This thing looks amazing. What a great aesthetic, I've never seen anything like it. As always I take my hat off to your attention to detail and immaculate process. How durable do you think the laquered finish be in the event of a dropped safety razor or similar? Just occurred to me it might not take the punishment that porcelain does.

The time, patience and quite honestly, the level of OCD 😅 (or what some may call, "Attention to detail"🤔😏, you put into one basin is just phenomenal. The colour in the basin reminds me of a bowl of chocolate. The baby poo colour on the wall however, is not to my taste. But whatever your Queen wants, your Queen shall get 👸🏻🙇🏻‍♂🤣

Isn't there a minimum distance a loo has to be from a wall (I thought it was 40 or 45cm) under the building regs?

Based on the look around the house, the only way to do that is go back to using an outhouse or ditch the sink. My guess is application of modern building regs would result in mass demolition of that area. Besides, maybe the don't poo over there? :)

Amazing sink, looks stunning. Little design flaw with the toilet : too close to the wall. When sitting down, your right leg is hitting the towel warmer, or even if it wasn't here, the wall. I hate when toilets are flush against a wall like that =( No room to spread and do your business in style.

I came to the comments just to say that too. Looks amazing, but functionality is poorly thought out. Could've centered the toilet in the space and hade the sink directly above, draining water into the cistern for water saving too.

I've watched a lot of carpentry in my life even dabbled a bit myself. My favourite carpenter of all time is Norm Abraham from This Old House day's, but having just watched this, young man, you are now my favourite talented carpenter. Just don't tell the husband.....🤣🔨
