I admit, I watched a lot of different gnome making videos. Most of them made gnomes using socks and stuffing them. I saw your video and I really liked how simple it looked. I make 2 and 3/4 gnomes this past weekends. Although, I did take some ideas from the different videos, I mostly used your method, with a couple exceptions. The first exception was the shoes, but I will probably make shoes like what you make later when I make smaller gnomes. Although, I did make one with a felt body cover like you did, I made the others using some socks from the Dollar Tree that I had already picked up. The other thing I did differently, (different from any of the videos that I watched. Is I found some bendable curlers at the Dollar Tree, I cut each one in half and used them for arms. That way their arms could bend. I glued a bead on the cut end of the curler to use for a hand.

I like that you show the finished project at the first. So many crafters jump right into the tutorial and it’s kind of a mystery project. This way I can visualize what I’m doing.

This Gnome is so cute 🤗 . In my childhood there were some creepy gnomes like characters. Stories and such. Was born early enough to see weird things in the 70's as a child. Of course stories, pictures, decoration, etc,..,"BUT THIS ", I can see cuddly 🤗.
