I'm always so amazed at how organic everything you make looks, no matter the project it just looks like I should be there, like it should exist in the world even if one has no backing reason for it. A rare quality, and a much enjoyable one to witness indeed

Haha! Your tea leaves in fast speed was freaking me out, until I realized what it was writhing in the cup! Another awesome piece! Great job on the stained glass - fiddly work, isn’t it? But, the lamp is amazing because of it!

@@ZanVonZed Oh my goodness I'm so sorry about that, I've only just found your channel and watched one video, I'll used my age and lack of glasses at the time as my excuse, Phew, anyway I must say your work and technique is excellent, and has inspired me to dash out and buy some air drying clay to have a play. I've not really created much artwork in such a Very very long time, so thank you so much Zan for grabbing my interest an caused an uproar in my arty thoughts and fingers. I have watched a few more sessions of your work now, truly uplifting for me and hopefully a sea change. Take care and Carry On Sculpting, fabulous work and projects. my very best regards, JJ Jennifer Juniper, from the county of Cheshire.

Me with this sculpt - Sarah: Is that the castle beyond the Goblin City? Jareth: Turn back, Sarah. Turn back before it's too late. Sarah: I can't. Don't you understand that I can't. Jareth: What a pity. I had that scene playing inside my head the entire time! Super beautiful! I admire your amazing talent. Looks like it came out of the movie! Great job!

Just a tip... if you are gluing things, like those cubes, and you want to make them straight, try gluing them alongside a straight object like a piece of wood, or even a ruler. Great job by the way, really cool.

Great job & really interesting use & combination of materials - definitely evokes the Bog of Eternal Stench lol. Curious about why you used little blocks & not just square dowelling for the frame; was it a case of using up what supplies you had to hand, without making a trip to Bunnings?
@ZanVonZed
@ZanVonZed 4 жыл бұрын
Yes, just using up what I had, plus the blocks added a little brickiness once stuck together (the irregularity added to the ye olde look). Plus cutting up wood is a pain and too messy 🙃
