When I try to copy the points there is no selection to "copy as tracks." I imported a route I made in MyRoute app and saved as gpx file. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Can you tell me how you are getting it to draw the line as it goes? Mine is just following my line. Thanks so much!

It's been a while! I showed the settings for the "Tour" that I used; try different options on that preferences pane. Others have mentioned that newer versions of Google Earth Pro have changed in this area. My version is 7.3.3 perhaps you can find an older copy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Unfortunally, this trick is not working with the last version of Google Earth Pro. There is no longer Copy as a track in Meny.

Hi Sky Valley Studio. Well done for going through all the trial and error to bring us this very useful tutorial. It has helped me more than anything else so far to produce a movie from my marine chartplotter data. However when making the movie the recording does not appear to be in real time, so does not match the main movie timeline. I have checked all the settings and cannot find the reason.

I matched my map video to my source video which was sped up to 4 times real time for this project. In Google Earth, look at the Preferences, Touring. I set "Speed: (multiples of real-time) to 4.0 and it seemed match up well. My GPS data file came from my friend's Garmin GPS track. The .mp4 was correct even though the processing on screen was slower, but my laptop is from 2015.

You would have to set the touring speed to "1.0" to match real time. This is located in Tools > Options > Touring > Speed

Hi, this is exactly what I need to do. Could you send me a copy of your KML file so I can generate it with my own data? Thank You.

Here is a link to what I think you want. It's been a long time since I did this, so no guarantees. www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/rbjgbnm619e9b8fn85g2t/2019-09-22_08-42-03.kml?rlkey=acaa43od0n92mwsbctrtzlwed&dl=0 I would think you need to do something like I showed in the video, but it may have changed. Comment when you get the file, I won't leave it shared.

Is there a way to make moving speed to be stable? in my trip I had to stop from time to time and I don't want video to stay at one point for a few seconds
@skyvalleystudio42934 жыл бұрын
You just delete those stationary points like I did with the points at the beginning and end of my day’s track. I’ve done this a couple of times and I’m mainly looking to produce an animation that matches a moving POV video. So, yes!

Where did you get the GPS file from? How did you record that?
@skyvalleystudio42933 жыл бұрын
The GPX file came from one of the rider’s Garmin. I wasn’t recording so that made it possible. There are some apps that can provide the same thing, I believe.

You should be aware that this Video does NOT use Google Earth, but Google Earth Pro, which you need to download and pay for. Caption or Title is therefore wrong, misleading and inaccurate. Why do you guys do this …… ?
@skyvalleystudio42933 жыл бұрын
Well, this complaint is partially true... It is apparently "Google Earth Pro app" in my applications folder, but I NEVER paid for anything for the features I used. I downloaded it a long time ago, so I don't know if available free features have changed or if the Google updater changed its name somehow. I believe this is just the "desktop" name for "Google Earth". I just checked in the app and don't even see where I would need to or CAN pay for anything.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ On the download page I currently see: NOTE: Google Earth Pro requires a licence key. If you do not have a key, use your email address and the key GEPFREE to sign in.
