Making a handle from a double open ended spanner/crescent wrench with bolts where they should be.

I had the idea for this a while back but only found some cheap double open ended spanners/wrenches the other day. I've seen a few videos of people using spanners as handles but they drilled through the spanner/wrench and used screws to attach it to the door, I like this way more.
I think the handle would look better if it was aligned so the body of the wrench was horizontal (or vertical) I neglected to consider this and drilled the holes at the same height. On to watch for next time I guess.

cheers, I had all kinds of silly ideas how to do that, the least silly one was to screw a small piece of steel across the back of each bolt with two screws, but then I found a few screws that would do the job with even less fuss.
