Making A JerkBait

In this video I make a large jerkbait intended for Muskies and Pike. The paint job gets pretty detailed and looks pretty good at the end! Stay tuned to see how it turns out and how it swims.

Nice bait brotha! Might save you the headache? Layer the bait in super glue then quickly with paper towel will save your fingers.

It's good to see you back in the workshop, Nolan. I agree with you about the paint job-it's excellent. As for the action, here's an idea from a longtime saltwater fisherman (me): Try removing the center treble. Three big, heavy hooks on a swimbait of this size and shape is a lot, and one less MAY allow the lure to wobble a bit more. Just a thought . . .
