Thank god you didn’t add music. This piece is not my usual style but I like it a lot. Intrigued by the construction as well. So simple but effective, and looks surprisingly amazing when finished. I am usually covering up plywood edges, this has me thinking differently; thanks.

Amazing: imaginative and very useful! Please watch the H&S lapses though: I used to be a school woodwork teacher, so it is my conscience speaking! 1) Not setting guard on bandsaw to minimum bare blade above the job. 2) Fingers closer than 150 mm to bandsaw blade. Always use a push stick. Why risk a thumb? 3) Leaving machine running unattended. 4) Hand router cable management. All the best, keep up the brilliant work!
@johnlambert56742 жыл бұрын
Great piece of furniture and I love to see the combination of plywood and hardwood. Just one comment. Using compressed air to blow off the sanding dust will only redistribute the dust around the workshop and indeed the very finest particles will stay in suspension in the air. At least vacuum off the majority of dust before doing this. ( Maybe you did and we didn't see it ?). Keep posting.

I laughed when I read "hi-fi," I don't think I've seen that used in 30 years. I like how you point out something like the brush being too soft, then continue using it because you make do with what you have.
