What a terrific design. I would love to see a video on how to design something like this. Figuring out the parts. (many iterations?) Creating the pattern (assuming some vector drawing program) I think it would be fascinating. Not many videos on how someone goes about fitting the right number of holes per piece. Here is a tip I picked up along the way. After you tape down your pattern (and before punching all the holes) rub some kind of wax (a candle) over the hole markings. When you punch, the wax acts like a lubricant to make punching easier.

looks good to me my bae loves cactuses, actually we are having quite a bit collection at our app, I wonder if it is easy to get confused if you see it between of them :?? Def worth to give it a try!
