Nice video! I see alot of beginning and novice leather working people asking where to get patterns for this thing or that. This is what sets a craftsman apart from the crowd to be able to do this! And this is how it is done! 😉👍

I have a video in the pipeline on how I price my products so be on the lookout for that! Just be sure that you are making a wage you are happy with, covering your material plus some, and covering your overhead... even if you work from home... there is always overhead. Thanks so much!

Don could you explain how to use your hand skiving tool. I have a lot of trouble with mine even with a new blade in. Did you bend your's more than how they come new? Have you ever talked about pricing your work. This bag would be great to use for that discussion since it is a one off. Really enjoy the channel.

Hi Don. I’ve followed your channel for quite a while. Your work is amazing, as is watching you craft your work. I have a question about what leather would be best for a carry-on size duffle bag. Any advice from you or anyone who sees this is appreciated. Thank you!

I know you have done videos on the tools you use but I cannot find that specific knife you use when cutting out the pattern? Is it an Osbourne Knife? If so which one?

That's awesome right there. Did you ever get around to making a vid on bar grounders? I'd sure like to see how you use those. I'm considering getting a set but not sure i could use them. I've heard they are way different than matters. Anyway, great work Mr. Don. I look forward to every vid. Thank you for what you do and your time.

Thank you so much! Yes sir that video is coming real soon... just wrapping up the edit on it. You can run them... they are just different than matters but you can definitely run them dude!

What type of pattern medium are you using and where do you purchase it? Cardboard? Plastic? Heavy paper? I really enjoy your videos, seeing the skills you use and information you share with others. Please keep them coming.
@rebeccamiller32485 жыл бұрын
Ever thought about creating like a saddle bag or something for one of those big walkers with seats. Cause yes they come with baskets under the seat but with mobility issues it's damn near impossible to get to them n then you fold up the walker you have to fuss with those stupid bags or baskets you have to attach n remove them. But if it was more accessible n easier to remove like over the bar would be great. Would need a drink holder place for phone n maybe large purse like compartment for wallet, tablet or whatever.

It would be a huge help if these companion video/projects went into more detail and had better lighting. It’s rather difficult to follow what you are doing at times especially with the poor lighting. Also, the use of high speed only furthers the lack of detail and is counterproductive. If I’m going to pay money to print a pattern on my own printer I expect the companion video to be of better quality as pertaining to guiding me thru the project to its completion. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy all your videos but when it comes to paying for something I expect better quality. Cheers mate
