Yes there's alot involved but i think most people probably realise that making a knife package as good as yours comes from work,work,work,but still a real treat to watch mr jacklore at work. thanks for sharing sandy.

Very nice, Sandy. I see that you now glue the sheath before using the chisel. I could never get my lines to match up on the rear when chiseling one side before sanding. A true master. I've learned much from your vids. thanks Rich

What a great video Sandy, I for one never even had the slightest idea the amount of work that went into the humble sheath. If you add it all up, parts that looks like the best quality leather nice and thick, and the man hours you put into it. Each unit must cost you a great deal. Thank you for taking the time to give us the journey from start to finish, it was an eye opener for me. Love the AVO meter you have. Nothing wrong with old school mate, I think its the future. Dave

You are an amazing craftsman. I think your high quality "utilitarian" vision has been surpassed. If I owned one of you knives I would keep it in a display cabinet. They are exquisite. I am still learning to make amateur knives as a hobby and I am learning not only how, but just how much patience and heartache is involved. My last three blades have come out of my kiln pitted despite anti scale coat :-(. Thank you pointing us amateurs in the right direction.

Excellent Hopefully I will be able to do just as good when I make my sheaths for my knives. I have made holsters in the past, it's just going to depend on how much I can remember from when I did that. And of course, practice. Thanks for this great video. On a brighter side......the funniest part of the vid for me is when your hammering in the stitch holes and you speed it up... Just reminds me of the Benny Hill show.... had to have a giggle......
