The longer version is incredible!! I mean, I love having these two levels of tutorials, one for a quick overview (which is already really cool) and one more in depth. Thanks for the incredible work once again!

Hey Polyjford, I really like these type of extended and more detailed video's as it helps me understand some of the the more technical stuff in blender.

Mate you are by far the best teacher in blender for me. I like knowing why you do things rather than just how. Your other chanel is great. Please keep this one up.

I really enjoyed this one and I managed to create one out of your extended tutorial. I also got some new understanding on how to do things. Thanks a lot!

12:20 This is the most unusual way of making an ark I've ever seen. 🙃 Hey, but it works! Try bridging edge loops also. Much more convenient. Thx for amazing tutorial!

Following again with this longer, and more detailed, version. I'm loving it. It's really testing me and I appreciate it since I'm trying to learn Blender in my spare time. The only thing is the gear in the Mechanical Creature Kit is different form the one you used. The one I have has many teeth and a centre hole with 4 spokes. I'm using it, but it doesn't look the same as yours.

Another GREAT one. I am blown away. It would be a FANTASTIC thing to show how we can adapt different animation files to this armature. Most seem to have all bones pointing straight up. Is there an easy way after scaling it up?

Just a quick tip especially when it comes to the hands: Render one frame with the camera where you want it. Can you see where the finger are joined to the hand? No! Don't worry about it being not realistic. Nobody will see it. I've spend hundreds of hours in my life, trying to perfect textures that you can't even see in the end product. As long as you do not want a close-up of something like the hands, do not worry about them. Be sloppy.

Hey Asbørn I think it would be easier if you add an Archimedian curve under curve spirals. That has been a little more intuitive in my experience.
