2 ways to cut plastic balls. A thin miter saw or scoring with a knife where you need it to break and then snap off. If you think you'll break to much, cut small section at a time. Hope that helps..

Hello Bill, for the if you wish the prevent mangling your balls in the future, I would recommend trying a Carbide Rod Saw blade in a hacksaw handle, it's round so it's easier to do curved cuts. The build looks great! I am excited to see your channel grow so fast, I remember just a few weeks ago you were under a thousand subscribers, and now here you are! Well done sir

There are fretsaw or scrollsaw blades with spiral teeth you can use to saw any shape and direction, or you can use a drill/dremel to puncture the drawn circle and sand it afterwards. That maybe works with the hot knife too by poking holes into the plastic. But it's always a nasty work to cut round shapes.

I'd suggest a coping saw on the plastic bauble (used for scribing skirting boards and the like). They're fine-toothed so it should give a relatively clean cut, and would allow you to cut curves. Hilarious video!

You just need a Dremel tool Bill. A cutting disc will do the job, I use them all the time.
