I just bought one off ebay with the ips screen and the super nintendo cover (edit famicom)

How loud are the sp gameboy i havent got mine yet. I just ordered mine off ebay. I had a color and an advance and both seemed very quiet

They aren’t much louder than the Colors or Advances however I think you can upgrade the speaker if you’d like to

@@TheBygoneEra well I got the diodes delivered today. They weren't the exact color as the ones in the ps2 power supply. I removed the faulty one but still the power supply won't turn on. I'll have to wait to see if it is the power and disc tray switch when I get my other faulty ps2 I've bought from eBay. It turns on but doesn't play discs.

Yeah don't have much experience but taking an SP apart is pretty easy except those stupid rubber covers mine were just wrecked after
