This is such a cool diorama, I really like the surreal stuff, cool seeing weird things in actual physical space. I’d love to see you try and make some optical illusions, like an abandoned room with the curtains and furniture all making a face, or those diagonal mirrors that make it look like there’s a winding infinite corridor in a small space. Would be dope to see in your style

How about trying a baba yaga house (maybe you already did this) or an empty head (window panes for eyes) that is an abandoned warehouse or home (thinking cluttered and abandoned memories scattered about like mental blocks), making it creepy and sad or both, or neither and go happy with it :D

With your attention to detail, these surreal miniatures have been some of my favorites. A small suggestion for an idea: a miniature of a shed or similarly small ish building, but have the ground on the outside look like the flooring that should be inside, then build the inside to look like an outdoor forest scene, slap a mirror in the back to give it a false sense of being bigger on the inside and boom, you've got a woods in the cabin.

I think it would be awesome if maybe you could do a diorama of a campfire set with a fire tent maybe some trees but the best part is you make the inside of the tent awesome looking! Almost like an illusion where it looks small from the outside but much bigger on the inside! And with your style added I think this would look amazing!

This is the stuff of my dreams! But ugh finishing a major part to end deciding it’s not quite what you thought so you start it over to get that aha! look you want. I’m gonna do some serious thinking of surreal inspiration…conceptual photography thoughts made 3D…like maybe something Gaudi inspired but hundreds of years in the future when nature has taken over. Inspired by nature and devoured by nature…

oooh, I am loving this world you're making. You've got the doors in the forest, now you've got a cabin, maybe a room with some mirrors and mannequins? I think whoever finds themselves in that room would need to try and figure out if they're the real person or if they're a mannequin. Play into some imposter syndrome with it.

I can't put into words how much i love this 😮 not only is it a bloody good diorama, the filming brought so much life to it. I'm truly envious of this lol. Also an idea for the surrealism style, another cabin like house, but held by a demonic octopus creature, like the kraken or Cthulu?

Almost everything about this is right kool. I like the imagery, I like the surreal spooky world you are creating. In the final design I agree completely the bigger skull works right perfect. I think the only stuff I'm not as keen on is 1: the windows and 2: the internal lighting. The house is a mix of "old and potentially abandoned" by the yard/moss/overgrowth on the exterior, but the windows are too clean and untouched. Would have been kool to see them at LEAST dirtied most, possibly some partially blocked with years of debris nestled in them. Or broken/cracked/possibly have vine growth painted/added across some of them. The lighting is nice but for the glamour video clips having some method to get a dim amber glow that flickers or modulates randomly would have better implied a fire. . Personally having a wood cutters stump with axe outside woulld have been nice. But I do understand you were out of your comfort zone a bit with q smaller model and the difficulties of losing detail alongside a lot fo your usualy techniques/materials not quite matching that size. If you end up going small a few more times, think of the overall ambiance/feel more than singular subjects/simpler vignette's. Give the viewer plenty to immerse and pour over instead of a smalll moment in a single room thats superdetailed and fairly realistic. . This DOES make me someday wonder what it'd be like to see you work with more scale sizing and do a smallish abandoned town or street just for the fun tricks with lighting, camera angles, smoke, etc you could play with. With the projectors and screens you have as well you could stagger shots to extend into the projected background to add numerous other effects.. . I know.. I'm goin way too grand. ;) Keep at what you are doing. And absolutely keep at the mind bending world you are starting to bring together!!!
