It was more about weight but i do find solid shafts bend easier, that’s why i had hollow but placed a section of solid in there to give more stability

I'm guessing the material they use isn't properly hardened considering its mostly likely coming from China. LOVE your videos and beautiful work BTW.

You can do mate if using a hardenable steel but this was just mild scraps i had left over
