@DiesInEveryFilm3 жыл бұрын
I don’t need a whip to it it’s deadblow not a mace and they didn’t use straps as its a trench club and that could be used against you by someone catching it then pulling you into the trench, i do my research before I build so please don’t tell me how I should make stuff, we also can’t change the past and this is an old video.

Am I the only one slightly disappointed that he didn't unpick a few inches of the cable, and run it the full circumference of the ball, before welding it at both top and bottom; creating a series of ridged surfaces around the circumference, similar to a flanged/winged mace...? When you heat up a cable red hot with a torch, you can twist it, and it kinda welds itself at the end. Just make it as hot as possible, and twist it tighter, while keeping the torch on it. Eventually it breaks off, and it doesn't unwind itself anymore.

You frequently wear long sleeved shirts in the workshop? If so I would recommend at the very least rolling them up, especially while using the lathe. That's how you lose an arm! Other than that this build is fantastic, very honest to the original design while bringing it into the future. Good work!
@DiesInEveryFilm3 жыл бұрын
Honestly thanks for the feedback but please don’t tell me how to be in my workshop, you assume i am not safe all because of a long sleeve when it is fully safe i have lots of machinist friends all wear long sleeve because they know what they are doing and know their limitations on these things. Secondly my lathe is a baby it wouldn’t pull my arm off it driven by belts and i can stop it turning with my bare hands. My workshop my rules and that doesn’t make it unsafe. If you had the experience you would know
@FrostyDog973 жыл бұрын
@@DiesInEveryFilm You are right. I don't have experience in these fields and have never used a lathe in my life. My comment was more out of concern for your well being rather than me trying to get you to change your ways, I understand now that you are well versed in your craft and are of course experienced with handling safety. All of my uncle's and a few of my cousins all work with machinery in some form or another during their work and I have heard numerous horror stories of something going wrong with them. Again not trying to tell you how to run things in your workshop it's your space and you are the only one that knows best how to run it. Once again supreme work, and I apologize for any miscommunication or offence.
@DiesInEveryFilm3 жыл бұрын
