Thank you thank you thank you! I've been lurking around in all of these forums and comment threads trying to get a better idea of all the work that went into your helmet (which is gorgeous, but that's stating the obvious) so I could learn what could be implemented into my own ideas. This video was immensely helpful, even as a bare-bones rundown of the process!
@diegator7 жыл бұрын
+SlavishCircle if I were to go into more detail, what part of the process or helmet are you most interested in?
@wtfomghem7 жыл бұрын
diegator I think it might be best if I gave a short run of my idea first? What I am thinking is making a cyberpunk 'deck' computer casing out of fiberglass/Bond-O. What I hope you could enlighten me to, since I am an amateur to this, is how much I could hope to gain using CAD software if I can find the right sized 3D printer -- if there are ways of designing standard screw holes into it, latching mechanics to have modeled or altered for my needs... the project is relatively ambitious

You should add some lenses to the frontal lobe of the helmet where your eyes should be, maybe find a way for them to recede into the helmet opens, thus keeping it fairly accurate but adding more mystery to your appearance.
