Thanks April! The key is my taping the seams technique. It really saves time. Less seams from the get go, will have less of a mess with all the sanding and filling work. Which makes for a cleaner helmet in the end. 😎

Thanks Sarah. I try to explain at least the more unique parts that comes with each build. Applying the Pepakura templates to foam is always the same to me but the finishing will always be different from project to project.

And remember, don't push yourself to get a new video out. It's more important that you keep the feeling of fun than try to satisfy your audience. We'll be here waiting anyway :)

This was something I needed to make for a long time out of foam. As for videos, I have some goals to get more content out this year. That bit of discomfort paid off because I’m actually ahead of schedule. So it worked out in the end. The thing with me is, I burn out when I take too much time off and get relaxed. I work better non-stop. In the end, I always appreciate the support. 😎

Eventually, I’d love to do that. The templates would be messy. I would have to clean them up on the computer once I was done. It would be a custom helmet design for sure though.

A big big thank you Stealth for the template you are the one who introduce me to pepakura file building about 10 years ago and i had lots of fun and still do . Precision wise when it comes to detail what do think is the best between foam and carboard ? The end result is awesome

You can use the software for free. Just follow the Pepakura for foam Cosplay tutorial I mentioned. It shows you how to get started.

It’s 6mm thick foam. Rigidity is just the typical density with the foam I use. It has an okay density. Nothing too special or out of the ordinary. There’s also an Easter egg in the video. Look for a file folder with “Gray Fox helmet” on it. I had 6mm written there. I was gonna wait until someone noticed but I figured I’ll pin this comment.

You’ll need to do that math yourself by the materials you’re looking to buy for whatever project you’re doing. Also remember that a lot of materials can last for more than one project.

Yes. I’d recommend that. My helmet will just be for display. So I didn’t put anything. If it’s for Cosplaying put some clear coat over it.
