I love the Pentel Multi 8, which loads 8 colours of 2mm leads. I find these are much better for drawing than the coloured 0.7mm leads I tried before. The thin ones are really just good for lines, the thicker ones are good for layering and shading, too. - I have 2 of these multi pencils loaded and with me when I go out sketching. Which gives me 16 colours, plus the colours I can mix from them by layering and blending. And the pen housing is not as thick as you would think. The front is rather narrow and lies good in the hand.

It is a fun kind of thing to have a color multi pencil. Not too expensive either. Probably under $25 for all the parts.

Multi pen notification.....try the Pentel Arts 8 Color Automatic Pencil. It's manufactured specifically for color leads, up to 8. You shouldn't have trouble.

I actually have two pen/pencils very similar to that model, one of which I completely broke playing with it (and trying to figure out what I could do with it). :) I don't know if I made a video about that misadventure or not. I'll have to check. :)

Really good idea. I have better use for a multi mechanical pencil with .3mm, 5mm, .7mm, and .9mm (non-color). Do you know of any?
@WhiteGloveReviews5 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I know of one with 3mm/5mm/7mm. It's a Powers Mecha 357 (amzn.to/2D4Udni) but I don't know of one with 9mm too. I think there's 3mm/4mm/5mm for the Coleto pencil refills too, so you could make one of those.

Go to the dollar store and buy some nail polish in the colors of the leads to dab on each clicker

That's a great idea. Thank you. I'm going to give that a shot. :)

The Hi-Tec C Coleto Multi (from JetPens) has colored tabs that match the MANY great ink color (and size) refill options as well as pencil sizes, eraser, stylus, etc.

I took a look at my Bic 4 before and I couldn't figure a way to get the inserts out. Did you try it and get it to work?
