Revisiting 11 years later.... much has changed, journeys have definitely helped us evolve into different people. I miss these times, Love you Heady 🧡

SAME BROO!!! Been recently listening to a lot of classic hardstyle cuz I feel like the kicks were better back then. They were obviously much much harder to make than the modern kicks that we have now, but it was definitely worth the work!

Thanks so much for this video headhunterz, it really shows how much EQ and effects you need to make an awesome kick. Also when you enabled some of the effects you couldnt hear much difference which shows just a suttle change really helps. THANKS!
@MHaleyy13 жыл бұрын
I learned soooo much from this video, your amazing...anybody can be a hardstyle producer, all you need is the dedication... people like Headhunterz, Noisecontrollers, toneshifterz, D-block &s-te-fan, etc, are popular because they have there own style, but alll of there expensive equipment they use helps them a ton to get music down faster and better...other people dont have that shit :/
@HardlifeMedia11 жыл бұрын
To be honest this helped me quite a bit.. never used phasers on my kick before and it works wonders, also the auto filter thing was an eye opener..

The kick is amazing Willem, and I love these videos. Would be great if you would upload more. Also, it would be nice if you did some Q&A videos for some comments left below. MY questions: Do you feel that you changed your style due to new techniques or just based on the feeling you have at the moment? And How long were you producing for to learn the ins and outs of the profession?

Then you bounce it to a sample. Load into a sampler split the band on the mixer using sends. Cut the mids and highs add EQ and compression for bass on one then use the other for mid and high detail while low passing out subsonics. Layering in extra sounds as needed.

@00Mass00 basically, the interface and perhaps even specific effects may be different, but you will be using mostly the same synths, and really, an equalizer or reverb works on the same principle in ableton and logic

Btw, i pitch my kicks in ultra beat. Open the empty template in ultra beat. And use the upper one, to load your kick. The next higher note wil automatic pitch your kick! So sample your kick on a low G!

@ZwixHardstyle Try to use the filter called "Maximus". That's a real good filter to take care of the envelope in your kicks. Generate a basic sound in Hydra, then apply the Buzz Effect Adapter with Whitenoise Stereo Distortion, then apply Ohmicide and after That you apply Maximus, then you apply Fast Dist, then EQ and EQ, then send, then EQ again, and then Reverb. That's the basic order of filters i'm using =)

@HeadhunterzMedia I make my kicks with 8 FX :D I also have a similar method except I use 4 distortions 3 EQ's and shape the wave after the first 2 distortion fx. I love talking music now because a few weeks ago I had no clue, But I'm learning hardstyle very very fast and my sounds are already professional, I got MA-15D's to help me out and loving em :)
