I am making one myself atm. Just had a idea of using paper ads from the mail and using it in any way possible. I mixed titebond with a bit of water and let the papers soak in it before assembling. Using Tech Decks (the old narrow ones cause I'm old) wrapped in foil as the mold. Wanted to try out one of those newer style broader boards so that is why I thought of trying it. Hope mine turns out half as good as yours did! :D

About two years ago i made a fingerboard out of Cardstock paper and just used a techdeck as my mold In all honesty it was pretty easy to do and relatively durable and used it without griptape or wheels and just skated around with it.
