Crazy how sunny it is now in portugal. Haven seen the sun once since days here in Germany. Also gardening the whole year arround must be awesome.

That's why we go to Portugal for the winter months. Trading Canadian winters for Portugal mild winters months. We are Portuguese/Canadian snowbirds.

Yes, we have had a lot of sun this year and very little rain, which is not very good for the garden! Gardening all year around is working out very good indeed, in fact we try to grow as much as possible during winter, to not have to water things in summer.
