You might find making a cardboard template out of a piece of poster board much easier to use than marking a ruler. That's how I bend trim on a break so all of the bend/cut lines match up on the finished sheet metal.

I did make a template for the curved hem shape, and yes, I can see how that would be easy for the mark spacing too.

I never cut a paper pattern, I make a pattern from it and make any modifications required on that pattern, thus I always have a fully OEM to go to next thime.
