Pantographs Made Easy!

Pantographs! One of the best tools a longarm quilter, especially if you are new to longarm quilting, can own. In this video, I will show you how to set up, work through and ADVANCE through the quilt, the easiest and most foolproof way possible.

I am new to Longarm quilting and pantographs. This video is wonderful. I have been searching for weeks for this type of explanation on setup. I have a long arm machine sitting quietly waiting for me to get enough courage to try quilting on it. I have spent the WHOLE SUPERBOWL watching your videos (of course I pause you every once in a while when the hubs is YELLING at the TV) and you have given me a glimmer of hope that maybe I can do this! Excellent video. The only thing you forgot to mention is if you have a directional panto, you might have to load it upside down and quilt it upside down to get the orientation the way you want. Example: sailboats or rows of animals, etc. Ask me how I know. I now mark all of my directional pantos with a highlighted note to check the orientation to see if it makes a difference on the top.

All you need to do is hesitate just for a split second ( even say the word 'point' in your head) and those points will be perfect. :)

Never try to 'not waiver' from the lines! Loose grip, use the pants as a guide and your golden. :)
