Hello! I’m a resin artist as well and just thought I’d help ya out by telling you that you don’t have to wait for each layer to completely cure! If you wait an hour or two between layers they won’t mix☺️
@pookarah3 жыл бұрын
She uses a super slow cure resin, pretty sure, when she does layers the same day they often mix
@katecraven16043 жыл бұрын
pookarah that could very well be possible😂 I usually don’t use slow cure just because I’m impatient to demold🤭

I've been putting photos in resin for years. I use Mod Podge for paper giving them 2-3 coats and it works beautifully. The key is letting them air dry for a good 8 hours (or cheat using a fan.) No more laminate. : )

I'm sooooo sorry to be a party pooper but glitter, (unless biodegradable/edible) is so bad for our oceans and our animals. Its small enough to get through filters and is easily swallowed by all our sea creatures, large and small. Just something to think about Xxx
@mommadeth30664 жыл бұрын
Nicola Nicola pretty sure the brands she uses are biodegradable since glitters been such a big topic for years. Should go over to the chick that makes bath bombs and comment there since she doesn’t use biodegradable glitters and those actually go into the sink rather than resin that hardens and gets tossed
@mommadeth30664 жыл бұрын
Nicola Nicola it also isn’t that hard to look at the brands of mica and glitter she uses and go research it. I would be more concerned about the mica powders and where they are mined from as most mica comes out India where they use children to pull it out while parents also work in the mines. Mines have collapsed on these kids killing them yet mica is still used in every day product.

Yes those are basically shaker molds. I just started doing shakers and after about 5 tries, I got it. On to these, they are adorable. I do think they looked better with the open holes though.
