My brother in Christ, this is amazing. you may think something like this job is childsplay in the machinist/gunsmithing world, but for your age you present things extremely well and easy to understand, plus you obviously do your research. good work man and never stop learning. i look forward to learning more from this channel, cheers.

Thank you for promoting my video. I noticed a little difference between the one you made and the one I use. Mine is not shaped like a round rod but is flat on the site facing the magazine. So adjustment of spring tension can only be changed by a full turn of the "Mutter" ( the same word is used in German for mother and nut) Yours will allow half turn fine tuning.

that's weird, i would think a full round piece would be better since it's a smaller contact patch. i suppose there's nothing stopping one from filing a flat on both sides. brass and steel have very little friction when rubbed together anyway so it probably wouldn't matter much, and the brass will always wear before the steel does.

We have much better than that in Switzerland. Two micro ball bearings on a little bar, made by a maker of parts for watches....absolutely smooth and very precise. Cost? 50 chf.

Something is wrong with me. Looking into the gun. And I am like “meh, I guess I should get one to pair with my SG551” but then I see this video, and it is just the right amount of niche that makes me want to do this. But now I’m thinking “rollers with ceramic ball bearings”

Party On. Miss my days in the Machine Shop trying to hurt myself. Yes, the most Dangerous Tool in the shop is a File without a Handle.

Watched the video and had a friend make one just to try it in one of my P210s. I can notice there actually is a difference in the trigger pull. Thank you very much for sharing.

I had to buy a little rubber oring for my Beretta 21A. It fits between the threaded barrel and the thread protector (or suppressor). Luckily they come three to a pack for just under 10 if memory serves and only found on Berettas web site. That oring came off in two pieces after I had the pistol three days. I shot it with a Texas Silencer Scoundrel. Point being. I get why you want to do it yourself. I paid a lot less than you but i still looked for the right size orings from everywhere. If Beretta ever decides to up the price you’d still have to buy from them because they are literally the only supplier.

i know exactly which o rings you're talking about. quick tip with o rings for the future though, it's super easy to cut and splice them with regular old super glue.
