Dude, why are you shooting like this? If you shoot normally, the glock 17 will not fail.

So, the point was? Mostly a true assessment. Handguns require grip resistance to operate and cycle. If you’re a limp wristed pantywaist, buy a Canik

The gun was designed to outperform when used properly. Baretta and Glock are the best!! My clear choice any day.

The first technique for removing the clip could get you shot in the armpit. I was always taught to; 1 keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction , 2 use the clip release to release the clip while always keeping the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.

I have never in my life handling guns the entire time have ever slipped decoding a gun and if you follow the other rules of gun safety like pointing it in a safe direction at all times then this will never be a problem.

Maybe just go the regular way ? Or private sale ? Seems way easier

all because the person isnt providing enough resistance, the cycling of the weapon is disrupted? do i got that right?

The only misconceptions people have about an M1 Garand are held by those who do not own an M1 Garand.

I know my Ruger Security Six has a stepped hammer that cannot strike the firing pin unless the transfer bar in between is up. The transfer bar is what actually contacts the firing pin once the hammer is dropped on it. If you release the trigger while lowering the hammer, the transfer bar drops, and the hammer cannot fire the weapon even if you slip. But if you keep the trigger pulled, the bar stays up, and the gun can go off Also, an interesting extra feature, if you pull the trigger through the double action, and stop right at the last little wall before it fires, then release the trigger, the hammer will miss the transfer bar in that scenario as well. It really is a well-designed mechanism

I could design and 3d print a mag holster that doubles as a spoon for one of these clips, but I doubt it would be practical
@primary263013 сағат бұрын
Its because of the old COD games where you cant reload the M1 Garand mid clip. I guess cause when you do the whole clip comes out of the magazine but yeah idk

You gotta love that people get their "knowledge" from video games and then have balls to criticize.

Technically all the “failure to extract” are actually failure to eject. The extractor did its job, extracting the casing from the chamber. The ejection process didn’t occur because of short stroking. It doesn’t have to jam to be an ejection failure. Good video though. The Berettas were surprising.

they were failures to extract, i cut out the part where i retract the slide

I like the idea of the cylinder going clockwise on the colt. The smith takes the cake for the cylinder release. Easier to operate in my opinion.

finishing on prewar Smith & Wesson firearms would be in custom territory today. same thing with the original 1892 Krag-Jorgensen rifles. workmanship back then was different.
