Making a Scrunchie Board for the shop - PLUS I share some things I learned when making this one!

For future reference, or for anyone watching at home - pre-drill your holes with a smaller drill bit first, then re-drill with the larger bit. Also, to stop tear out, place a bit of painters tape over the spot you're going to drill first.

I did end up predrilling with the 9mm bit and it went through smoothly but the 12.5mm was too chunky for the thickness of the wood 😔 I'll definitely try painters tape next time

Never let age stop you from learning new things! I know plenty of people older than me who are a whizz at computers. 12 years ago, I knew very little but gradually taught myself. I knew nothing about design when I first started my business

I’ve recently been enjoying scrunchies I’m on a hunt for blue ones and purple ones because those two are my favourite colours atm if it has a little bit of black to them I would definitely be buying some soon

I have a few blue ones but I'm surprised I don't have purple given that's my favourite colour 💜 I'm due to go fabric shopping soon so will add to my list

You could engrave some extra wording on the bottom of the middle pegboard to fill the space, your favourite quote, have a nice day, all handmade etc ❤❤❤

That's a great idea. The other idea I have had is to put the little hooks back in that held the basket then I can always put any clearance scrunchies in it. 🧡
