I went to look on your website to see if you sell any patterns and was disappointed when I didn't see any for sale. Wish I could buy your corset pattern for personal use.

Greta vid, thanks for sharing. I wanted to do a evening dress, just wondering what type of fabric for the inner corset? As my colour is pinky and Calico fabric selling in Australia is usually comes with the unbleached colour, will that be okay?

I know I am late on this one, but I have used plasti dip in the dip can for my spiral steel bones. it works fairly well and dries down flat in my experience. It also creates a nice coating to keep the ends from rusting. BTW I just found your channel, and I am in love, I am an avid sewer and love watching what other people create, kind of a guilty pleasure. I will be binging all your videos soon!

Thank you and thanks for the tip. How long does the plasti dip take to dry? I'm pretty impatient when it comes to thinks like that lol.

Do you have a guide for your boning channels? Or how do you know where to put them?

Tyvm..love the look. I could see it on stage as well. Question? Do you have the order # of that material? As well the leaves? I have other plans but you found what I can't seem to. Atleast the colors are way better.
@RockstarsandRoyalty5 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Which material is it that you can't find? I've found the leaves from another seller here - tidd.ly/e7ab00e4

Hi! your work is amazing! just wanted to know how many spiral and how many straight steel bones did you put in the end? what it 8 spirals in the front (4 in each) and 8 in the back? (4 either side?) thanks! :))
@RockstarsandRoyalty5 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I used 8 spiral steel bones and 2 straight steel bones either side (20 bones in total). The straight steel bones are at the back, either side of the eyelets, the rest are spirals.

Thank you for your video. Where do you buy steel boning from. I live in Brisbane
@RockstarsandRoyalty5 жыл бұрын
You're welcome. I buy continuous steel boning form either Metro Fabrics or Booby Traps. They're both in Australia. metrofabrics.com.au/collections/corsetry-supplies boobytraps.com.au/haberdashery/boning/boning

Has anyone tried dipping the boning ends in liquid latex?
@RockstarsandRoyalty5 жыл бұрын
I hadn't thought of liquid latex. Would love to know people's experience with it too 🙂
@sueiverson2585 жыл бұрын
I use the plastic sew in stuff. I like melting the ends with a litghter. I don't want to buy the cutter and capper- just that I do more alterations than original work. Like this idea of the latex sounds easier.
