run a broom over it before you pull the mold, gives a smoother finish but still slip proof good vid THANX!

You are the first person I’ve seen using weed blocker. I would think that might make the concrete crack over the winter months with freezing and expansion.
@WhitehouseFarmVet2 жыл бұрын
No the weed block is flexible and breathable but will also prevent anything growing up through your polymeric sand or any other substrate you use in the gaps! Thank you for watching!👍😊

How did it hold up during the winter??? I wanna do this method but I’m in the northeast where it gets cold would I need to put gravel under the mold?
@WhitehouseFarmVet7 ай бұрын
We are upstate NY and it's been a couple years with no issues!!! We love it! Thank you for watching and good luck!👍

Ok this gives me some reassurance I’m in central Jersey and was just worried about the rain etc but you have the same weather if not worse then me especially with snow

Why the weedfabic under concrete can weeds grow up thru the concrete?
@WhitehouseFarmVet3 ай бұрын
We put it down just in case the polymeric sand didn't do it's job and plants grew up in between the cracks! Thanks for watching!😊

I SAW YOUR OTHER VID FOR WOOD STORAGE, GETTING MOTIVATED TO FINALLY USE MY MOLD I ORDER A WHILE BACK, WITH THE 80LB BAG, ABOUT HOWMANY MOLDS CAN YOU FILL ??
@WhitehouseFarmVet Жыл бұрын
That's great! We found we can normally get at least 3 forms done with 2 80lb bags of quikrete! We also found the 1 gallon milk jugs work great for ratio of water to 1 80lb bag of quikrete! Hopefully this helps! Good luck and thanks for watching!👍😊

only thing i can add tot his is people need to compact the soil before they lay any kind of concrete. settling will tear it up over time. Using agrigate stone will do wonders if compacted.

Sugestión to refinish use aluminum paper to finish on top lo lock like stone
@WhitehouseFarmVet2 жыл бұрын
Awesome that is a great idea!!!!! Thank you I will try that when we do the stone around our firepit! Thank you and thank you for watching!👍👍👍👍👍😊

Bwahaha 🤣 🤣 🤣 baby ran off with scissors ✂️ 😳..... I was like ...... ummmmm hey the lil one ran off with scissors..... lol is it just me? I am super happy that you all can trust your lil ones like that.... not me and my kiddos. I woke up one morning to my oldest daughter (age 5 at that time) playing with my youngest daughter (age 3 at that time) and she had chopped allllllllll her younger sisters hair haha and then I learned to keep scissors away from the littles BUT one day my youngest daughter was being super quiet (age 6 at this time) and she was in the same room as me even just around the corner where I couldn't see her exactly but I heard a weird sound and I went to see what she had gotten into and she was cutting up pictures of the family that she found in a drawer with the scissors bcuz I had intended to make a scrap book and put everything I needed in the drawer haha I can't trust my littles with scissors for sure hehe so yeah when I seen that I was like...... I bet he is trying to figure out what he can help you with by cutting haha 😄
