Huge congratulations are owed to Will for the beautiful work on this knife. I hope it helps inspire folks who have limited tools to keep pushing the boundaries of their skills. Having good tools is so much fun and brings such joy to us as makers, but we don't need them to get better and make better work. Experience, ingenuity and hard work always trumps the fancy tools! Fancy tools just help make the knowledge get applied easier! Go follow Will @will_stelter Also big thanks to NordVPN for sponsoring this and keeping our team working while the world is in lockdown! nordvpn.com/forge Please check them out at this link to help support the show.

Me: 20 minutes of where'd my hammer go? These tongs don't fit this steel right. I'll adjust my tongs. The rivet loosened up. The rivet is too tight. The tong fit up got knocked out of whack. Alec, Will, and Jamie, you all have continued to impress all of us over the years. I started watching Alec back in 17 when I was deployed to Qatar, and was so amazed at the skill and technical crafting from such a young blacksmith. Jamie’s edits definitely have the flair needed to make Alec and Will worth watching, and is just as big of a start in his own right for constantly being able to create entertaining videos from whatever nonsense Alec and Will send him lol. Will has been the fire to Alec’s forge, and was a breath of fresh air since day one. I don’t think there has ever been a better tag team duo better than Steele and Stelter. All of you have been fantastic, and we all appreciate the extra work you guys are doing to keep everyone entertained during these hard times. Keep up the amazing work!!

Apart from the 30 seconds of rough angle grinding, Will basically just achieved in one 20 min video what Alec took a whole 8 part series to achieve.

Really enjoyed the last 2 videos! I'd imagine alot of people are giving knife making a try these days. Would it be possible to make a video for complete beginners. Something that includes tips on how to file down a blade. Or things to consider attaching a handle.

What hardware store were you shopping at? I’ve never seen one carry anything other than pine or oak? That is some awesome handle material!

Very nice. I especially liked how you took the opportunity to experiment with the guard first since you could cut it off or grind it down if it didn't work out.
