We add our own blood to our personal ink that we use for spells. I'd recommend at least *infusing* red ink with dragons blood. It's the resin that holds the properties.

It’s for protection. The Tetragrammaton or Tetragram is the four-letter Hebrew word יהוה‎, (Israel). High Magick and Wicca is full of this imagery, possibly due to having to hid their practices behind the ruling religion at the time, Christianity. We translate it in the second video.

It's ok if you don't. Your bos is yours so do what feels better for you and make it the way you like. I myself can not write all the time because of hand issues. If you can't draw it's ok to print. I myself can't always draw certain things so I print it. Remember it's the time and energy you put into it.

If there is a reason you can't write it out, it's ok. Martinique's grandfather developed very shaky hands over the years. If that is the case, printing it out is fine. The important part is to have the information. It is your reference book for all of your magickal workings.

I would highly recommend your Book of Shadows be it's own book. This is your reference book for the craft. If the existing writings in your book are something like notes on plants or tools of the craft or something related to your pagan studies, that should be ok (and we will be adding things like that very soon) but if it is completely irrelevant like cute drawings, notes for school, or just random entries, then you should probably get a new one.

Bit late to this, but... I did, I was born and raised Christian and it didn't work out for me. About two or three years ago, I discovered Wicca and through that discovered paganism, which is where I am now. It brings me peace and I wouldn't be who I am without it. I appreciate the time I spent in the Christian Faith and do not regret it, as it allowed me to discover who I was, through trial and error.
