I've commented b4 about how terrifyingly talented Andrew and Rob are but you are absolutely correct on this as well! The fact that the crew not only can mesh well with the duo like @Srcsqwrn said but they seem to actually enjoy it which just adds on to the greatness. The vibe is always so inviting regardless of their overwhelming talent. IMO a welcomed take.

Idea for another episode: an all vocal song. Every part of the song is vocals - you can sample yourselves with a sampler in the room to increase the possibilities. This even creates the possibility of a 1 instrument series where you both have the exact same instrument and have to make a song with that one thing. Great sponsor potential too 👀

Every Sonic Boom episode makes it obvious how close the two of them are as friends. Rob and Andrew collabing is like magic and their bond really solidifies that. Also Ruccia somehow understanding Rob's stick clicks and enterpreting it exactly as intended is very comical to me

Just finished the vid and wow. I also thought Sonic Boom would get to talk more, lol. This song gave me chills. That layered vocal build up, woooo! Also, excellent editing all the visual components with the final song. I wondered if this challenge would keep my interest because there would be no talking, but I loved the charades aspect. I learned that I don't understand what Andrew and Rob were communicating with their gestures, but that's what makes it magical when they were able to communicate well with each other and the crew.

Hear me out: exquisite corpse but with music. One person goes in, lays down one instrument take without the other person being able to hear it or give input. Then you swap places and the other person adds to it. Keep doing it until the song is done.

Lovely creativeness. Because you've asked... Has the thought occurred to possibly try and do something akin to "Scenes from a Hat? Various strips of Paper made up by the crew (or even from your audience) all thrown into a Hat that is randomly chosen by you (or the crew) and then using those suggestion piece together something. You could possibly even stretch it out further by making another hat filled with random Instruments to be used.

When I clicked on this video I had no idea that by the end of it I would have tears streaming down my face for a solid 20 minutes. This level of connection and authenticity when creating music with others is what I have always wanted to be a part of. I hope someday I am able to do that, but even just being the witness was so special and I will never forget it! Well with there being 7.8 billion people on the planet, it's easy to conclude that different people are going to express their appreciation in different ways. This song is uniquely beautiful because of the limited communication. The lack of talking means less theory (the structure and harmony are not really conventional), and also there was no time for arguing so most of the decisions were made to make things simple or made randomly. The result is very organic, it seems simple enough but it's also full of intuitive ideas and happy accidents. Rob and Andrew are the Bob Ross's of music

I feel like this was a beautiful experience that led to the creation of a beautiful song, and I was both entertained by the antics and deeply moved by the friendship and comradery on display. Do something like this: Andrew do Left Channel By himself alone and rob do the right channel by himself alone. Then those 2 channels are mixed and sent to each one, andrew must now do an right channel that mix with both channels and rob do an left channel that mix with both things. The result is the 4 channels mixed.
