This video series literally fixed the weird anxiety that I had about writing music. I always felt like, I don’t know, anything I wrote had to be profound or special or else it wasn’t worth recording. Now I write and record music a lot, even if it’s just some silly nonsense. Not to prove anything to anyone, but just because it’s fun and I love doing it. Thank you both for this.

The first album he gave off the energy of what the hell are we doing? Second album he was starting to get used to it and kind of enjoying himself, but still in the middle. Third album he was like yes! This is awesome, and fun, and I love it! I mean, he did have moments of enjoying himself on the second album, but he was still in the middle. It wasn’t until album 3 where he finally was like OK, I’m enjoying this.
