Very nice! I can see, with longer legs and 4-5 copies of it, as the basis for a very nice dining table. Perhaps even as the side pieces/supports for a set of dining chairs.

I'm going to be making more furniture in this line. Wood used is 18 mm Birch plywood, and swiss cdf (which is basically high quality water proof mdf). Stool hight is 45 cm.

You could have finished one set of each component then used that as a template to run a flush trim router bit along to clean up everything.. that might cut down on all that sanding time. You could also use a belt sander carefully

Yup, belt sander definitely helps. I've tried it on some new versions, but at the time I didn't have a belt sander, and I didn't want to buy one just for that project.
