This was dope! I bought the toolbar and production template a couple weeks ago. These videos have helped me transition to producing in S1 so much. Thank you.

Hi Ivan, Enjoying your content❤. What is the advantage of splitting up kick, snare and hihats in separate tract over using one Impact XT midi track with all the pads routed to individual mixer channels? I feel like making drums beat variations are easy this ways as you could see everything on same place.
@ImIvanCalderon Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Preference honestly. When it comes to arranging and creating different sections where some drum parts might be absent, it is easier for me to just delete that individual drum midi event, thank clicking into the editor to make changes.

When recording drums in the same track in Studio One, how do I add more parts to an existing pattern without deleting the previous info? For ex: I'll record a kick & snare pattern. How do I go back to that same track an add a hihat? Thanks.
@ImIvanCalderon2 жыл бұрын
Usually in those cases the drum samples are set to different notes on the piano roll so you can just recored over it while playing the new drum sample/note.

Do you ever use the Humanize function in Studio One Pro 5.5 to make it feel a little less mechanical? This is not a criticism, just a question.
@ImIvanCalderon2 жыл бұрын
Yea but it depends on the genre and what I'm trying to achieve. The swing feature is also a good alternative to the humanize function.

Humanise in scaler is much better

How did you link scaler with kontact?
@ImIvanCalderon2 жыл бұрын
You gotta set the output of Scaler to the input of whatever VST you are trying to link it to. The enable only the monitoring for Scaler and only the recording for the second VST.
@abhasgupta3542 жыл бұрын
@@ImIvanCalderon If i change the output of scaler, it stops triggering scaler and only the vst is played, what worked for me, is when i changed the input of the vst to scaler. But that doesnt work when i have multiple different vsts, since scaler starts triggering all of them at once, there has to be a better way to navigate through it, i couldnt find any videos regarding it either
