I'm always reminded of this sad fact. The majority would rather shutoff their brains and mingle with more... uhm... "social life?" affairs than watch or develop real, brain stimulating, learning and handcrafting/shop skills. I'm definitely in the engineering, hand work and learn everything I can not because it is necessary but because it is real, therapeutic, invaluable and I am not able to suppress my inner curiosity.

@paul beenis compared to people who do gaming or reaction videos (which is easy work) he gets no views. An average gaming/reaction video gets like 1-5 million views but he only got half a million. Also it might seem like a lot and it is, but if you compare it to other people then it isn't. (btw i didnt say 15K subs is no attention, i said in general. 15K subs is not that much these days since there are people with over 40M subs)

KoobzZ its just not to everyone’s interest. Also, it’s too long to be popular. If he made a 7 second clip of how he made this whole guitar, or had flashy editing and effects, then the masses could process it. But 17 min is sadly too long for most people’s attention span nowadays. I’m not by any means saying he should shorten the video, since I watched and loved the whole thing just as it is. I’m just saying why it’s not as popular.

It was fucking amazing watching the entire video start to finish. What took you months and months to complete took me 18 minutes. This is an amazing piece of art. When I first saw the title, I thought "It seems cool, but not extraordinary." That thought went out the window in the first two minutes. I am a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and understand a lot of what I see as far as machining wise, but what I saw in this video was fucking INCREDIBLE. I hope you NEVER sell this guitar and use it as a tool to succeed in your craft. BIG thumbs up my man. Amazing work.

Ha! Just my humble opinion but I feel you've won the "bizarre guitar" contest. I've seen so many of these weird guitar builds and this is my favorite by far. Getting everything to line up and the process to colorize the wood was amazing. It is obvious to pull this off you need to have a wee bit of OCD. That is probably why I enjoyed the process and completed guitar so much.

With one big difference, this guitar, however art without a doubt, will not be long lived if really played. The used wood will sooner or later bend under the tension as it is way to soft for building a guitar. But with this project, i think, the art comes before a long-term playable guitar. Ben Crowe (Crimson Guitars) build guitar that are long-term playable.
