Looks very stable, unlike my old four legged bench stool. Another fantastic job. Are you using ,the owl drill in your brace?
@EricMeyerMaker11 ай бұрын
I have some owls, but I used a standard bit on this project. I would have used the owls I just didn't have one in the right size.

The skill that goes into such a simple piece is absolutely inspiring. I've only done stools and chairs without stretchers, was the glue up stressful? Seems like a big step up in skill to me. Kudos anyway, love your work.

Appreciate it! Yes, this one was stressful. I ended up putting it together backwards at first. Luckily, I was using hide glue and could redo the assembly before the glue set.

Top stuff! Always look forward to your vids dropping! Out of interest, for someone starting out in chairs/staked furniture, whats easier tapered tenons or round tenons?
@EricMeyerMaker11 ай бұрын
I'm using straight tenons. I struggle with getting the tapered one to go in the right direction.

Yup. Good to save the back. Very cool stool you made there!
