Easy trick to up your ASMR game: take an audio recording of you doing nothing (“room tone”) and lay it over the whole thing, so that when you decrease the volume for the loud bits, the white noise sounds like it stays the same. Love your vids! 😊

Bees wax…. Take your pricking irons and press them Into some beeswax… they will slide out much easier… I do that with my pliers irons as well… made a world of difference :)

Eventually the leather will conform to the desired shape. You can always condition the leather to help it get more comfortable in your desired shape/layout.

Great question! I use the tape when I have to center a piece of leather in the middle of another piece - when it's floating. That way it's not permanent and if I mess up I can lift the piece and try again. I tend to use cement when I'm gluing along a seam because it's much easier to line up and i can trim/sand the seam after to even it out

Purchase templates, so you get the idea and feel for sizing, order of operation, and better idea for long-term tools (buy entry cheaper first, then buy more expensive tools after you understand which tools are better at higher end of market). Learn how to sharpen all tools along the way!
